After a challenging couples of months with lots of highs and lots of lows, I’ve frustratingly been inching my way into a flare-up and have been feeling really poorly - so poorly I’ve needed to curl up in bed in the dark and do nothing for substantial periods of time throughout the day.

Because of this, I want to be respectful of my current abilities and start to at least practice what I preach about pacing and prioritisation. As I mentioned in our last discussion thread, I’m terrible about making myself stop when I have writing to do, when I have anything to do, to be honest. And I have a rather unhelpful habit of pushing myself to continue, even when I know I shouldn’t.

So, instead of pushing myself to finish some of the pieces I’ve been working on (I tried, it wasn’t a good idea), I thought I’d slowly spend the week writing a post and pulling together some thoughts from multiple drafts, in which I share some thoughts on “No Zero Days” as a tool to help me during my more challenging times.
